Serbian event producer Relog Media has partnered with esports data provider GRID to host #HomeSweetHome, an online Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament.
The event series has a $320,000 (£276,081.60) prize pool and will take place over eight-weeks, commencing with its opening tournament between March 31st and April 5th.
Over the next two months, a total of 16 teams will participate in the standalone tournaments to compete for $40,000 (£34,529) in cash prizes each week.
Additionally, there is said to be a final tournament at the end of the series where the eight top finishers will compete for a separate prize pool, with more information said to be coming in the following weeks.
Petar Markovic, COO of Relog Media, commented on the tournament series in a release: “Relog Media is pleased to announce its collaboration with GRID. Personally, I would like to thank everyone who participated in organizing this event and for making us a great Counter Strike during these difficult times. Stay home, take care of yourself and your loved ones and stay healthy.”
